Your next role

Swindon Museums Service is seeking to appoint a number of highly motivated Casual Formal Learning Officers with experience in the teaching/education sector to join our successful Team.

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering our school sessions at STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway, Museum & Art Swindon and Lydiard House Museum to our professional standards. They will ensure that school sessions meet the needs of visiting groups and continue to be of the highest quality that schools have come to expect.

The successful candidates will be flexible to work according to when school sessions and tours are booked. This could include occasional evenings and weekends to support the Museums Service programme. 

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
