Your next role
We are looking for a Delivery/Warehouse Assistant that will be delivering, installing and collecting daily living aids and medical devices to services users in the Swindon Community, to help promote independent living, for people living in their own homes.
You will also be responsible for cleaning and minor repairs of equipment and manual storekeeping. Other duties include vehicle checks, routine maintenance and cleaning of work vehicles and assist with equipment cleaning, quality control and locating of equipment in stores.
With your knowledge of OT equipment, you will provide high quality customer service, both face to face and on the phone, maintaining professionalism and sensitivity at all times. You will Record and relay accurate information regarding equipment deliveries or collections ensuring polite and professional interaction with service users.
You must hold a full clean driver’s licence to apply for this role.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
You will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check
