We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Assistant Care Manager to join the Community Led support team at Swindon Borough Council. The successful candidate will join a friendly, supportive and dynamic team. We are committed to providing good quality supervision and continuing professional development opportunities.

Your next role

You are an Assistant Care Manager supporting residents to remain independent in their own homes with access to effective information and advice and services that promote a strength base approach. 

The team comprises of a variety of experienced Social Workers, and working alongside Occupational Therapists and other partner agencies, working together to provide a multi-disciplinary, strength-based approach. We also work closely and collaboratively with our Live Well Hub which utilises Community Navigators, volunteers and a wide range of community services, in order to ensure we work creatively with people to help them meet their desired outcomes.

You will demonstrate excellent communication and assessment skills and enjoy working in a fast paced but supportive environment.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
