Your next role:
As part of our development and restructure, we formed an Adult MASH to co-ordinate our adult referrals and provide a multi-agency approach, working together with partners to ensure adults live in safety and free from abuse and neglect.
This post will report in to the Team Manager of MASH. As an Assistant Team Manager you will contribute to the support and development of our Adult MASH and provide great supervision / support to social workers within the team. You will work closely with Managers, Assistant Team Managers, both in MASH and across Adult Social Care, and partner agencies. You will support your manager to develop and deliver a high performing team to improve and achieve best outcomes for vulnerable adults in Swindon
You will work with the council’s Safeguarding Quality and Performance Framework to effectively monitor and develop performance across Safeguarding and ensure the team are working within the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal and that these are applied appropriately through the business.
In line with our values, you will be motivated by achieving the best outcomes for residents. You will be proactive in looking for opportunities to improve our residents safeguarding experience of our services and open to supporting communities to embrace change, innovation and opportunities to co-produce services; working with people with lived experience and their carers in the safe delivery and evaluation of services.
You will bring passion and commitment, achieving creative engagement with people with lived experience and their families and promoting effective safeguarding.
Candidates must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act – for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
You must hold a formal social work degree and be Social Work England registered to apply for this post.
