Your next role
We are looking for a Senior Business Support Officer to administer and support us with the development of Children and Families Contact Swindon.
Children and Families Contact Swindon will provide information, advice, guidance and consultation, which will support professionals on knowing when a child and their family requires intensive or statutory support.
As a Senior Business Support Officer in Children and Families Contact Swindon you will be: –
- The first point of call for professionals and families that require help and support.
- You will provide a clearer process for parents and partner agencies to access support, advice and action proportionate to risk.
- A key function of the Senior Business Support Officer role will be ensuring professionals and families can access telephone support, which could reduce the need for a physical face to face support service. This process will enable us to deliver a better service for children and their families.
- The Senior Business Support Officer will also provide the administration support to Locality Panels. These panels will consider what is the right service for children who require support at an early help level and whether there are any further services available to support children who are on the edge of requiring statutory services.
- You will be someone who has an interest in working for children and in contributing to a vital service at the forefront of supporting and protecting children in Swindon.
- You will have experience of working in a customer focused environment, working to timescales, gathering information, maintaining accurate records and working closely with others.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
