We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, Occupational Therapist to join our community team on a permanent basis. The post is full time, but we would consider part-time and flexible working options.
Come and join a passionate, innovative and child-centred therapy team based at The Salt Way Centre in West Swindon. Salt Way is a specialist centre for children’s therapies – Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy and Speech & Language therapy, the disabled children’s social work team and a specialist early years centre for children with complex needs.
We work with children from 0-18 years with a wide range of conditions in a variety of settings. These include clinics, patients homes, mainstream and special schools.
You would be responsible for managing a varied caseload of children and young people including the delivery of specialist educational provision. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a broad range of clinical experience and be ready to develop specialist clinical skills in paediatric Occupational Therapy. Training and support is provided by experienced clinicians to support your ongoing development.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
