Our Property Maintenance team is seeking a Roofer to help continue the delivery of the best possible service to our customers. As a key member of our team you will be part of a team delivering fencing projects, the delivery of responsive repairs works to our housing stock and corporate buildings.
Your next role
You will work alongside our skilled workforce to deliver works to our Stock. We expect you to maintain the highest level in customer care. With an acute awareness of Health and Safety, you will endeavour to complete your duties with efficiency. Diagnosing repairs and maintenance of all flat and pitched roofs and any technical solutions and give recommendations about any remedial works and action to be carried out on domestic dwellings and corporate buildings. You will be at the forefront of a new, exciting reorganisation of how we deliver repairs, across north and south Swindon.
The successful applicants will be a point of contact within their locality for key stakeholders across Swindon, including Elected Members, residents and local businesses and you will be able to support improvements to customers when delivering services.
Possessing experience in repairs on all types of flat & pitched roofs. You will have detailed knowledge of construction related health and safety regulations.
Having knowledge of planning and building regulations and other related codes is essential in this role.
Candidates must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act – for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
Please note this role is 37 hours per week and you will be required to have flexibility to cover the core hours of the business between 6am and 10pm. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this at interview.
