SEND Finance & Personal Budgets Officer
Job specification
We are seeking to recruit two dedicated individuals to join our Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Service as permanent SEND Finance & Personal Budget Officer’s.
We have a full-time and a part time vacancy available. One role will focus on managing travel finance functions, whilst the other will be dedicated to educational finance functions.
Your next role
We recognise that most potential applicants may not have the specialist knowledge around SEND, therefore a desire to learn is essential, we will ensure that the successful applicant is provided with the relevant training to undertake the post to the required standard.
However, we do expect an excellent understanding of financial management to include the management of multiple budgets and complex funding streams.
You will be responsible for all aspects of budget management for multiple SEND budgets to include all necessary reporting, reconciliation and necessary projections using appropriate financial systems.
You will need to be an excellent communicator, with an eye for detail and the ability to follow processes.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
