Join Our Team as a Dynamic Neighbourhood Housing Manager!

Are you passionate about creating thriving communities? Do you have a knack for building relationships and solving complex housing issues? Do you consider yourself an effective communicator? If so, we want YOU to join our Neighbourhood Housing Management team!

As a Neighbourhood Housing Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission, managing a team and overseeing a portfolio of properties and ensuring our customers receive the first class support that they deserve. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining high-quality housing services.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and partner agencies, understanding their needs, and addressing their concerns.
  • Leading and motivating a team to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Implementing community engagement initiatives to enhance customer involvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with housing regulations and health and safety standards.

You must have: 

  • Proven experience in housing management or a similar role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
  • A passion for community development and customer well-being.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Knowledge of housing laws and regulations.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).

The ability to travel throughout the Borough will be required.
