This position will offer you a chance to work in a dynamic Housing environment supporting colleagues to deliver the Housing Management function to over 10,000 customers.  Ensuring that our data and payments on the housing management system is accurate and up to date. This role is hybrid working, you will need to have the flexibility to work from home and on site on a regular basis.

Your next role

Your responsibility will be updating the Housing management system with accurate and up to date data in respect of rent accounts, tenant charges, refunds, universal credit and other rents maintenance functions as required.  In addition, you will be responsible for the completion of all tenancy amendments ensuring all processes and procedures have been followed with accuracy. You will be liaising with staff at all levels including Senior Officers, tenants and other agencies, when required.

You must:

  • Be well organised, thorough and accurate
  • Be able to work independently but also as part of a team
  • Be able to work within an office environment when needed
  • Be prepared to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and engage with all members of the wider Housing team and external customers.
  • Be IT literate and prepared to work with existing and future IT systems.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”) and the ability to travel throughout the Borough will be required.
