We are a supported employer operation helping adults with both physical disabilities and learning difficulties and as part of our supported employment strategy our vision is to introduce a new supported learning network of placements that see individuals rotate through Enterprise Works and prepare for future external employment.

That is why we have this exciting new opportunity for a Skilled Fencer Workshop Team Leader.

Your next role

The Skilled Fencer Workshop Team Leader is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for managing the day to day operating and leading an experienced team.

We are looking for an energetic person that embraces change who will lead a team by example displaying positive behaviours.

Supported by the Enterprise Manager and Deputy Operations Manager you will ensure accurate timelines are set for production line manufacturing and lead time to customers.

Deliver project works within the Enterprise Works remit that demonstrate ongoing operational drive and future commercial growth.

You will have strong people and communication skills with a mentor style approach to share knowledge, along with the confidence to deal with all HR matters in line with SBC procedures
If you can bring good communication skills, teamwork and a passion to learn, we will support you in developing a career with Enterprise Works and Swindon Borough Council.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
