Your next role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join a friendly and supportive community team on a permanent basis.

We are a team of passionate, innovative and child-centred therapists based at The Salt Way Centre in West Swindon.  The Salt Way Centre is a specialist centre for children’s therapies (Speech & Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy), the disabled children’s social work team, and a specialist early years centre for children with complex needs.

Newly qualified therapists will have access to a mentor to support with NQP competencies.

You will be managing a caseload of children and young people in clinics, preschools and schools. If you have particular areas of interest, we can offer opportunities to further develop your practice in areas such as:

•          Early Years

•          Autism

•          Special educational needs

•          Cleft lip and palate,

•          Dysphagia

•          Deafness.

A full driver’s licence and access to a car for use at work, is required.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
