Swindon Advocacy Movement (SAM) is seeking to appoint an Activities Coordinator to provide support and help enable clients with learning disabilities to boost their confidence, independence and skills. Supporting clients living with support needs including (but not limited to) learning disabilities and/or Autism, mental ill health or dementia living in Swindon and who are experiencing crisis or significant change in their lives.

Swindon Advocacy Movement (SAM) has a well-established reputation of providing social inclusion and independence building projects for adults with learning disabilities in Swindon.

We need an adaptable Activity Coordinator to work for SAM Project Boost who will deliver activities and support members in one to one or small group settings.

We are passionate about empowering people to live the life they want to; for them to be included in the local community and have their voices heard.

Do you have experience working with adults with learning disabilities in an enabling capacity? Have you supported people with additional needs to develop skills and confidence? If so, we want to hear from you to join our committed friendly team.

We need a non-judgemental, compassionate, person with excellent communication skills who enjoys working with others to make positive change happen.
