We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapists to join a large Speech and Language Therapy Service which provides integrated provision for children for their Health and Education needs.

The Service has a large number of specialist areas which offers you the opportunity to learn and develop. We take students from Marjon University and have a culture of learning and growth with good funding for professional development.

The post will include a mixture of work in language clinics and delivering support to children with educational health care plans within school settings.

The Service sits within integrated early help teams which includes; Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, The Disabled Children’s Social Work Team, Children Looked after Team, Early Help Service, Health Visiting, School Nursing Service, Educational Psychology Service and Targeted Mental Health Services, Children’s Social care and Swindon Borough council’s specialist provision playgroup Koala’s.

This provides a unique opportunity for collaborative working to support the needs of children, young people and families.

The staff are passionate about the care they deliver, innovative and forward thinking.

We can offer you a professional environment, with experienced mentors to support your growth and development. A large wider team with opportunities to learn about different specialities and develop your own interests. Newly qualified SALTs are welcome to apply.  In return we are looking for an enthusiastic, open learner who wants to develop both themselves and the service they work in.

Candidates must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act – for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
