Do you have the skills and experience to undertake complaint investigations which are required by the Council’s Children’s Social Care Complaints Procedures? We would like to hear from people who have worked in social care, health or partner agencies and have experience of investigation and report writing. Training will be given on undertaking a complaint investigation.

Successful applicants will be included on our Register of Independent People which is available to the complaints managers in the seven participating authorities. The amount of work offered will vary according to demand and is not guaranteed.  You will be expected to work efficiently and in a timely manner within the statutory timescales, this role is primarily virtual, but some travel may be required.   

Please note that should your application be successful; you will be required to attend a training session.
