Your next role
We are now working towards implementation of the Family Safeguarding Model in 2022, a new multi-disciplinary approach that supports a whole-system change to child protection for children up to adolescence, focusing on supporting the needs of children and adults so that children can safely remain within their families. This model will involve practitioners working in multi-disciplinary teams with adult specialist workers responding to complex issues of domestic abuse, mental health and substance misuse. We will be implementing motivational interviewing, a new workbook for recording and individual and group intervention programmes. Our teams will have manageable caseloads and our Advanced Social workers will support our model of group supervision.
