Assistant Care Manager, Learning Disability Team

Within the team, we work within a multi-disciplinary framework with individuals living within a variety of settings to maximise their independence and life opportunities. Alongside the completion of Care Act assessments and reviews, this team offers an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the areas of capacity, DoLs and court work.
The successful applicant will have experience of, and a passion to work with, individuals who have a learning disability. Demonstrating a commitment to providing a person centred and strengths based approach to their work to enable individuals to maximise their independence and life opportunities.
About the role
Assistant care managers work in partnership with adults with learning disabilities, alongside their families and other support networks, to undertake Care Act Assessments and Reviews as per the requirements of the Care Act 2014. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload under the supervision and guidance of a supervisor.
What we are looking for
As an assistant care manager, you will hold an NVQ in Care Level 3 or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
Candidates must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act for the effective performance of a customer-facing role).
